Open Access Journal: The George Washington University Undergraduate Bulletin of Ancient Studies

The George Washington University Undergraduate Bulletin of Ancient Studies
The Undergraduate Bulletin of Ancient Studies was founded in order to promote a community of academic scholarship in the realms of history, classical studies, archaeology, anthropology, and art history at the George Washington University.
The Bulletin is operated by dedicated undergraduate students fostering a community of scholarship that supplements the studies of a number of GW departments and programs. At the end of each semester, the GWU-UBAS releases a namesake print journal of student-submitted papers and other content. The Bulletin pairs contributors with members of our editing team in order to help students develop ideas, revise papers, and produce a publishable piece. Each semester the Bulletin also hosts a release event in which contributors have the opportunity to present their papers and receive feedback from peers and professors.
To improve students' academic writing, the Bulletin looks hosts workshops led by professors and upperclassmen geared toward learning and developing writing and revising skills that will improve students' abilities and prospects.
The Bulletin also manages an online blog of book and exhibit reviews, fieldwork experience and opportunity reports, and opportunities in the field of ancient studies around the GW community.
